Every year the team at South Surrey Smiles loves to get together around the holidays and enjoy some good food and fantastic company at our annual Christmas party. Each season we try and do something fun and interesting to make the party a night to remember, and this year was no different.
The whole South Surrey Smiles crew got together at The Dirty Apron Cooking School and Delicatessen in Crosstown Vancouver for a great night that included a four course meal that was cooked right in front of us by a professional chef. Along with our meal, we were all treated to some interesting and fun cooking tips, and as an added bonus we all received a copy of the recipes for our meal to try making on our own at home!
Everyone at The Dirty Apron was so wonderful, and we would like to thank them for their generosity and hospitality, and of course for the wonderful meal! We were treated to a mixture of some new and exciting foods like halibut cheeks and prawns for our appetizers, as well as some old favourites like beef tenderloin and curry for our main courses. It was so interesting to be able to watch a professional chef at work, and we all learned quite a lot about certain cooking techniques that we look forward to trying on our own!
The South Surrey Smiles Christmas party is an event the whole team looks forward to every year, and thanks to the wonderful people at The Dirty Apron, this year’s party was another great success!
