Braces

There are many different tools used in Orthodontic treatments to move the teeth. Braces are still the most commonly used option and, in some cases, the most effective method.

Today’s braces are smaller and sleeker than before. Because they are designed with comfort in mind, they feel better yet work just as effectively as ever.

Once brackets are attached to your teeth, wires will be slotted through and the elastic ties will be placed to hold them together. The braces will be regularly adjusted every 6 to 8 weeks. The adjustments of the wires nudge the teeth into place with the necessary amount of pressure. Depending on the condition of your teeth, you may need to wear braces for a year or longer. Dr. Williams will be able to inform you about your particular needs.

Metal Braces with the everchanging colour schemes of your choice!

Even though the elastic ties do serve a functional purpose, why not get a customized look by choosing fun colours when you are undergoing treatment! You can choose dusky blue to match your favorite sweater at this visit and switch to screaming pink at the next. You could also use colours to reflect your celebrative spirit for Halloween (orange and black) or Christmas (green and red). It is important to have fun on your journey to a perfect smile

Clear Braces

Many people are unaware if they have a bite issue until they start to experience the repercussions of no orthodontic treatment. Now, with more treatment options than ever before, smiles can be perfected at any age.

Clear braces attract people of all ages who need braces because they are less noticeable but incredibly durable. Our patients love this option because they retain the confidence that people notice their smile and not their braces.

Schedule a consult with Dr. Williams and her staff to find out if braces are ideal for your smile’s needs. Imagine how great it will feel to look into the mirror and see a perfect smile. You’ll be grinning for the whole world to see once your braces have done their work.

Braces for Children

When children are still growing, a screening appointment provides a perfect opportunity to pursue certain treatment options that aren’t nearly as effective later in life. In other words, early intervention can catch an issue before it becomes a problem. Parents will find these screening appointments helpful. We can check the eruption and development on the adult teeth and check to see if your child has the right number of teeth. Parents and children will learn all about the different types of braces and what solutions are available to address orthodontic concerns. We firmly believe that all parents should be educated about their children’s dental development so that they can help to encourage a beautiful, healthy smile that will last a lifetime

Braces are a common treatment used to straighten teeth. While they straighten the teeth, they can also be used to improve the way the teeth align together between the upper and lower jaws. Braces are used to correct problems associated with the bite of the teeth. Of course braces are used to create beautiful smiles but more importantly, braces create an ideal environment for your teeth to function properly. This will set your child’s teeth up to avoid unnecessary wear and tear so that they can keep their teeth for their entire lifetime.

Braces for Adults

We offer a variety of treatments designed for different age groups - including adults! Orthodontic treatment at later stages in life can dramatically improve your personal appearance and self-esteem. There are even virtually invisible, individualized options available – no one even has to know you’re undergoing orthodontic treatment!

The techniques and appliances we use for straightening teeth greatly reduce discomfort levels, decrease the frequency of visits, shorten the time in treatment and may allow you to choose from several options. Your options for a beautiful smile and good dental health make a difference in your well-being and self-confidence. While braces for teens are more common, adults can benefit just as much from orthodontic treatment, as it’s never too late to improve your smile.
