Free Menchies
Giving back to our community by supporting many worthy causes and charities every year is a particular point of pride for everyone at South Surrey Smiles. Like we have done so for the past few years, South Surrey Smiles is getting ready to once again host our annual Free Menchies Event in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. Each April is Daffodil Month, which is a month-long event dedicated to raising funds and awareness in support of cancer research. Practically everyone is or has been affected by this disease, which is why we must do all we can to help find a cure. Helping charities like the Canadian Cancer Society is just one way we can all show our support, and South Surrey Smiles is happy to do our part!
The popularity of our Free Menchies Event has steadily grown among our patients and their friends and family over the years, which is why we think it is the perfect opportunity to raise some money for a good cause, while having some fun at the same time. Which is why we are doing it again! Be sure to join us on April 7, 2017 between 2 – 5pm at Menchies at Morgan Crossing (15775 Croyden Drive #120, Surrey BC). As with past years, our staff members will be treating everyone who attends to a free frozen yogurt treat (up to $5.00), and will be encouraging everyone to make whatever donations they can throughout the afternoon. All the money will go directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, and it is our hope that we will be able to break last year’s record of $659.72 that we raised in a single afternoon! With help from such a passionate and caring community we believe that we will certainly be able to achieve that goal. In addition to donations, we also encourage everyone attending to wear something yellow to further show their support for the Canadian Cancer Society. And remember, South Surrey Smiles will MATCH all of the money raised.
All of us at South Surrey Smiles are looking forward to hosting this wonderful event, and seeing some of our former and current patients. We are also excited to meet new potential patients, and will be happy to provide any insight or tips for proper oral healthcare, so don’t hesitate to ask one of our friendly staff members and orthodontic experts. After all, we may love our Menchies, but Orthodontics is our passion, so we always have time to chat about helping you get the beautiful smile you’ve always wanted.
