A New Addition To Our Family!
At South Surrey Smiles, we see a lot of wonderful families with great kids walk through our doors every day. For us, it is important to make our patients, along with their entire families feel welcome, involved and up to date on the progress of their loved one’s oral health. Making our patients feel included in more than just discussions about orthodontics is something that is also very important to us, which is why we are always excited to hear about any good news our patients and their families have to share. Its also why we are excited to share some excellent news about our own South Surrey Smiles family! All of us were so happy to congratulate our very own Carling and her husband Wells on the birth of their baby boy in February, and we all finally got to celebrate at the recent baby shower!
You may remember the crazy snowfall we had in early February (how could you forget?!), and how hard it was to get around on the roads at the time in Surrey, Vancouver and the rest of the Lower Mainland. Not to be deterred by the weather however, Crew Thomas Macey was born on February 4th, 2017 at 8:10PM to his loving mother and father, weighing 7lbs 9oz! He shares his middle name with his dad, which is also his grandmother’s maiden name. We are all so happy that everything worked out for Carling and Wells despite the terrible weather, and we were all looking forward to meeting Crew and introducing him to the South Surrey Smiles family!
The whole team got together and had a wonderful time throwing a baby shower for Carling. We have to give a huge thanks to our lovely host Katelin for welcoming everyone into her home to celebrate with some tasty appetizers and champagne to toast the new addition to our family. We had a lot of fun sharing some gifts with Carling for Crew, and we are definitely looking forward to seeing the little guy in the new outfits we gave him. He is certainly going to be the best dressed baby in town! Once again, congratulations to Carling and Wells, and from all of us at South Surrey Smiles, welcome to the family, baby Crew!
Carling is doing excellent in her new role as a mother, she is a true natural! She is having a ton of fun with her happy son who is always full of laughs. Even at such a young age, he is already full of personality. Although we miss Carling at the office, it is wonderful to see how happy and in love she is with baby Crew.
